Description

Some installation skills are easier to understand when you can actually see what the film is doing. Redshift turns heat, stretch, and distortion into visible feedback, giving instructors and trainees a shared reference during demonstrations, hands-on practice, and review. Built for professional installer training, it makes technique easier to observe without pretending to replace professional judgment.

  • Heat becomes visible: The thermochromic PVC application layer responds at approximately 40°C, helping trainees identify where heat has been applied during practice.
  • Track stretch and distortion: A 1 cm × 1 cm grid gives installers a clear visual reference for stretch direction, local distortion, cutting, and alignment.

Redshift is not built around a finished vehicle color. Its visual change has a job to do. As heat reaches the responsive range, the film changes appearance so the heated area can be seen, then moves through its cooling state. Pair that response with the printed grid and an otherwise abstract lesson becomes something trainees can watch, compare, and discuss in real time.

Warranty

  • Designed for partial decal applications only. Limited color warranty: 6 months in Zone 3 areas and 1 year in all other zones. Warranty coverage varies by climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the applicable warranty period.

  • Application temperature: +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 95–100°C (gloss finish)
