Description

TeckWrap SK5 Utility Blades are pro-grade replacement blades for vinyl wrap, PPF, and tint installation, available in two formats: 9mm 30° for precision detail cuts and 18mm 60° for thicker films and tougher materials.

Forged from high-carbon SK5 steel with a black anti-corrosion oxidation coating, these blades stay sharp longer, resist rust, and won't chip or bend under heavy use. Snap-off segments let you refresh the edge instantly without swapping blades mid-job.

Two formats available:

  • 9mm × 30° (precision): ultra-fine angle for curves, corners, badge edges, and detail trimming. 6 snap-off segments per blade.
  • 18mm × 60° (heavy-duty): wider, sturdier angle for reflective vinyl, chrome films, layered PPF, and thick specialty materials. 10 snap-off segments per blade.

Key attributes:

  • SK5 high-carbon steel construction
  • Black anti-corrosion oxidation coating
  • Razor-sharp edge for clean cuts on vinyl, PPF, and tint
  • Snap-off segment design, no tools needed to refresh the edge
  • 10 blades per tube
  • Compatible with all standard 9mm and 18mm utility knife handles

Ideal for professional vinyl wrap installers, PPF specialists, window tint technicians, and serious DIYers who refuse to fight dull blades and wasted material.

Features

Build construction

  • 9mm 30° blade: 9 mm width, 30° cutting angle, 6 snap-off segments
  • 18mm 60° blade: 18 mm width, 60° cutting angle, 10 snap-off segments
  • Material: SK5 high-carbon steel
  • Coating: Black anti-corrosion oxidation
  • Quantity: 10 blades per tube
  • Compatibility: standard 9mm and 18mm utility knife handles

Performance

  • SK5 steel maintains edge sharpness through extended use
  • 30° angle slices cleanly through vinyl, PPF, and tint without jagged edges
  • 60° angle balances sharpness with durability for thick reflective, chrome, and layered films
  • Anti-corrosion coating resists rust in humid garages and shop conditions
  • Snap-off segments deliver a fresh edge in seconds without tools
  • Lightweight, fatigue-resistant design across long install sessions

Storage

Store the tube in a clean, dry place. Keep blades dry to preserve the anti-corrosion coating. Keep out of reach of children. Dispose of snapped blade segments in a sharps container or wrap securely.

Application

  • Use 9mm 30° blades for vinyl wrap detail trimming, badge edges, curves, recesses, and PPF edge work
  • Use 18mm 60° blades for thicker materials: reflective vinyl, chrome films, multi-layer PPF, and structured films
  • Always cut with a light, controlled touch, let the blade do the work
  • Hold the knife at a low angle to the film for clean cuts
  • When the tip dulls, snap off the spent segment using the built-in breaker on your knife handle
  • Replace the full blade when all segments are used
  • Wear cut-resistant gloves when changing or snapping blades
  • Always cut away from your body and away from the vehicle's factory paint
  • Avoid cutting on hard surfaces (glass, metal) that can chip the coating and dull the edge
