Description

Gable Green hides in plain sight. In low light it reads almost black, a deep blackened forest green with a blue undertone pulling it darker still. Then direct light finds it and a cold emerald comes up through the satin, with a faint teal in the reflections, never bright, always controlled. It sits in gemstone territory, the dark emerald of a luxury watch dial rather than a sports-car green. That restraint is the whole point.

It's the satin heritage-luxury read on green, and the darker, more executive twin to Jasper Green in the same 423 family. Where Jasper plays the brighter emerald-metallic exotic, Gable goes deeper, moodier, and more blackened, with the coachbuilt feel of a Bentley or Porsche commission rather than a sporty BMW green. The character tracks satin Porsche Jet Green almost exactly, sits right alongside satin BMW Oxford Green, and edges into Jaguar Spectre Green and Bentley Barnato in the lowest light.

It belongs on grand tourers and luxury SUVs that wear depth well: an Aston Martin DB12 and DBX, a Porsche 911 Turbo and Cayenne, a Bentley Continental GT, a Range Rover Autobiography, a Mercedes-AMG GT and G-Class, a BMW M8 and X7, a Jaguar F-Type, a Lexus LC500, a Land Rover Defender.

  • Handle the satin chrome surface carefully; it can scratch during install
