Description

Dark green often turns muddy when the light drops. TeckWrap Gable Green stays cool, carrying a blue-green undertone beneath its satin-chrome surface.

Key Attributes

Gable Green begins as a very dark forest green with a cool pull underneath. Away from direct light, the surface can sit close to black-green. A brighter emerald line appears when light reaches a curve, with a restrained teal note at the edge of the reflection. The shift is small but clear. Satin keeps the brighter areas from flashing like gloss, leaving the green deep and measured across the bodywork.

On flatter sections, the color settles again, so the brighter green never spreads evenly across every panel or viewing angle.

  • Closest to Aston Martin Racing Green: Gable Green follows its cool racing-green direction, expressed through a softer satin-chrome reflection.
  • Cooler, bluer, and more saturated than Jaguar British Racing Green Metallic: Jaguar's reference carries a warmer traditional green, while Gable Green pushes further toward cold emerald and teal.

Use it to bring a darker factory-inspired racing green to another vehicle, without suggesting a precise factory paint match.

Warranty

  • Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.
  • Metalized films require careful handling. The appearance of the metalized layer can change with crumpling, overstretching, or excessive heat. The film may scratch during application or daily use. The warranty does not cover the scratching of the film.

  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: soft squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces, avoid overstretching
  • Directional film, check orientation before cutting
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Post-heat: 95°C
  • Cure time: 24 hours above 15°C; 48 hours at room temperature recommended for maximum adhesive activation
  • Handle the satin chrome surface carefully; it can scratch during installation
