Description

Most dark metallic greys lose their character when the sun goes down. Dark Platinum doesn't. Its fine platinum flake stays active in changing light, giving the color contrast and definition long after ordinary charcoal finishes turn flat.

Dark Platinum sits between metallic black and deep gunmetal. In lower light, it takes on a dense charcoal appearance with a subtle metallic texture beneath the surface. As sunlight hits the film, the platinum flake becomes more pronounced, pulling silver highlights through the darker base and creating a sharper, cleaner finish. The metallic grain stays refined rather than flashy, which gives Dark Platinum the look of a factory performance color instead of a typical aftermarket grey. Park it next to a standard dark grey wrap and the added depth becomes distinctive.

Warranty
Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.

Application
  • Application temperature: +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee, buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 100°C
  • Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Directional film, check orientation before cutting
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Remove protective cap before install
  • Aftercare: pH-neutral products only, avoid waxes and harsh solvents
