Description

We made Silk Ash for the buyer who wanted a brushed-aluminum satin silver and wanted that finish to act as paint protection at the same time.

A satin metallic silver grey with a fine flake that reads brushed-aluminum cool at night and soft liquid-metal in sun, never glossy, never flat.

There are two clean routes to a brushed-aluminum satin silver. A satin vinyl wrap is the right call for a flexible color change with the freedom to refresh the look in a few years, easier on the budget, lighter commitment. Silk Ash is the Color PPF route, the same satin silver finish that also defends your factory paint against stone chips and road debris from the first mile. Same look, two different jobs.

Warranty

5-year TeckWrap limited warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, delamination, and material defects. Improper installation, physical impact damage, and scratches beyond the self-healing range are not covered.

  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Service range: -40°C to +100°C
  • Dry-install system, no wet solution required (air-release channels handle film placement)
  • Tools: squeegee with soft buffer, heat gun, knife, microfiber cloth
  • Repositionable during installation thanks to low-tack PSA
  • Conformability: complex curves, hoods, fenders, bumpers, mirrors, full body panels
  • Post-heat: activate adhesive after final positioning
  • Cure: 24–48 hours for full adhesion
  • Use same production batch for full vehicle, label and store leftovers by batch code
  • Avoid waxing or pressure-washing for the first 7 days
  • Surface must be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated before install
