Purple does not need to stay bright to remain visible. Phantom Purple waits in the darker panels, then shows a violet-magenta line when light reaches a curve.
At first glance, Phantom Purple is a blackened plum. Violet becomes visible across the roof edge, fender, or any section facing direct light. A muted magenta note sits inside that reflection, but the base remains dark. It avoids both the blue flash of an ultraviolet finish and the open brightness of candy purple. Across a complete side panel, that restraint gives the purple room to emerge without dominating every angle. Black trim deepens it further.
