Description

Most greys land either warm or dark, not both. TeckWrap's Onyx Grey doesn't. It runs dark and warm at once, a taupe-bronze grey under a silky satin sheen.

Key attributes:

  • Taupe-bronze warmth: dark satin metallic grey with a warm taupe and bronze undertone
  • Engineered finish: pressure-sensitive high-grade Renolit polymeric film with air-release channels for a smooth, even satin
  • Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and removable, peels residue-free
  • Flawless application: high-grade release liner keeps the film protected for an even, smooth satin lay-down
  • Heat-conformable: shapes over curves, mirrors, and recessed panels
  • Paint-safe: removable adhesive protects the factory paint underneath

Onyx Grey is the warm-dark middle of TeckWrap's grey lane. Where Mineral Grey runs light and golden and Apollo Grey goes deep charcoal and cool, Onyx Grey splits the difference, a dark taupe-bronze that stays warm without going light and understated without going cold. The silk-like satin softens it further, so it reads more like a bespoke luxury tone than a hardware-store grey. On a sedan or coupe it looks quietly expensive, the kind of color people can't quite name. Next to a flat cool grey it shows its warmth immediately.

TeckWrap Satin Metallic Onyx Grey compared to OEM greys:

  • Closest to a satinized Land Rover Kaikoura Stone
  • Same warm taupe cast as a Lexus Sonic Titanium
  • Same bronze-grey lean as an Aston Martin China Grey
  • Darker than an Audi Terra Grey
  • Warmer than a cool Mercedes Selenite Grey

Love those warm factory greys on a Land Rover or an Aston? Now put that taupe-bronze depth on your Giulia, A6, or E-Class.
