Description

Gold wraps can be hit or miss. Some end up looking too yellow. Others are so shiny they barely look like paint anymore. Imperial Gold takes a different route. It blends warm gold with a hint of bronze, while the satin metallic finish keeps the color looking closer to an OEM paint than a bright aftermarket wrap.

Key Attributes

  • Warm gold finish: metallic pigment gives the film a rich gold tone without pushing it toward bright yellow.
  • Satin metallic look: softens reflections so the color stays easy to look at in changing light.
  • Henkel adhesive: transparent solvent acrylic adhesive stands up to everyday weather.
  • Easy to work with: premium PET release liner keeps the film flat while you're lining it up, helping reduce trapped air during installation.
  • Forms around curves: softens with heat and conforms around mirrors, bumpers, door handles, and moderate recessed areas.
  • Paint-friendly removal: removable adhesive helps keep the original finish underneath in good condition.
  • Made for daily driving: UV-resistant construction helps the finish stay looking consistent over time.

Imperial Gold looks different depending on where you park it. In bright sunshine the metallic becomes easier to notice, but it never gets loud. Pull into the shade and more of the bronze starts to show. That's what gives the color its relaxed look. It doesn't swing toward yellow, and it doesn't have the mirror-like shine that some gold wraps do. The satin finish keeps everything balanced, so your eyes stay on the paint color instead of the reflections across the body.

OEM Match

  • Closest to: Porsche Aurum Metallic
  • Slightly deeper than: Mercedes-Benz Kalahari Gold Magno
  • Less yellow than: Lamborghini Oro Elios
  • More subtle than: BMW Austin Yellow Metallic

If Porsche Aurum Metallic is one of those factory colors you've always liked, Imperial Gold gives you a similar feel without copying it outright. It looks at home on a modern sports car, a performance sedan, or even a classic build that needs something warmer than silver but quieter than bright gold.
