Description

Most light greys thin out under bright light and go primer-flat or too white. TeckWrap High Gloss Slate Grey gives the color warmth, depth, and smooth reflections expected from a luxury European factory paint.

  • Porcelain, not primer: soft slate grey with a gentle warm undertone that stays refined instead of turning flat or cement-like. 
  • Quiet luxury finish: polymeric multilayered hybrid film creates smooth, pearl-clean reflections that give every panel quiet depth. 
  • Clean installation: air release channels push trapped air out during install, keeping panels flat and bubble-free  
  • Contour control: wraps mirrors, curves, and moderate recessed panels with steady heat response.
  • Weatherproof hold: Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive stays transparent and grips through changing weather without breaking down.  
  • Removal without damage: adhesive releases without residue, leaving the factory finish exactly as it was. 

Slate Grey sits closer to Porsche's design language than to a standard aftermarket grey. In motion, it develops a creamy porcelain base with a soft, warm tone. The color feels understated rather than technical, borrowing more from European luxury design than motorsport styling. It holds its architectural, composed character in both sunlight and shade.

  • Closest to Porsche Chalk (911 / Cayenne). 
  • Same saturation as Porsche Crayon. 
  • Warmer than Audi Suzuka Grey Metallic.
  • Matches the warmth of Porsche Heron Grey.
  • Softer than a Lamborghini Bianco Canopus.

Porsche Chalk only comes on a 911 or a Macan with the right order sheet. Slate Grey gets you the same porcelain-grey logic on a Golf R, a C-Class, or a Model 3 instead.

  • Storage shelf life: 2 years at +10°C to +20°C, 50% RH, dry conditions, away from sunlight.

Warranty

  • Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.

Application
  • Application temperature: +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 95–100°C (gloss finish)
  • Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Non-directional film
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Aftercare: pH-neutral products only, avoid hot wax or strong solvents
