I absolutely love it! It looks insane! The only issue I would tell you that my wrapper told me that it's a little thick and hard to heat on certain spots.Overall it came out beautiful I was just not happy with the bumper because he made extra cuts but no big deal. Overall it's the best color

The material feels good and color is almost perfect match to the factory Silverstone Gray paint on the car. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it."

Description

Most satin grey wraps go flat in low light. Gunmetal Grey keeps its cool metallic sheen alive.

Key Attributes

  • Two-mood grey: deepens to smooth gunmetal-graphite in shade, flashes liquid silver in direct sun
  • Brushed, not glossy: the satin finish keeps the metallic flake grainy and controlled rather than shiny or cheap-looking
  • Satin-over-metalized base: a fine silver coating underneath gives the grey real depth instead of a flat pigment tone
  • Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and weather-resistant, removes residue-free
  • Smooth lay-down: high-grade release liner keeps the film tension-flat, reducing orange-peel texture during install
  • Paint-safe: removable adhesive protects the factory finish underneath

Gunmetal Grey lives in the space between dark steel and cool graphite. The satin chrome finish gives it a low‑sheen metallic glow that shifts from a crisp cool grey in daylight to a deeper, almost blue‑steel tone in shadow. The fine metallic grain is subtle, not sparkly, so it reads as a factory‑quality satin finish. Park it next to a generic matte grey and the difference is immediate: this one has a metallic depth that feels built into the film, not sprayed on top.

OEM Match

  • Closest to Audi Daytona Gray Pearl Effect
  • Same satin depth as BMW Frozen Dark Grey
  • Cooler and sportier than Mercedes‑Benz Designo Mountain Grey Magno

That dark performance-silver look that AMG, BMW M, and Audi RS save for their fastest trims now fits a Camaro, WRX, or Model 3 just as easily as an M4 or RS6.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Price per roll

$80 to $350 per roll. Cheap upfront, then you pay a shop to strip it.

Film construction

Monomeric calendered vinyl. Shrinks back off the edges within months.

Release liner

Paper liner. Curls in storage and telegraphs into the finish.

Adhesive system

Rubber based. Grabs on contact and leaves residue on removal.

Warranty and removal

None stated, or a term with nothing behind it.

Color and finish range

A short list of solids. Color drifts between production batches.

Color and finish range

Over 220 colors in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, color shift.
