Our automotive films are manufactured in China (HK) and supplied to professional installers and distributors worldwide, including the European Union. To support regulatory transparency, selected TeckWrap products have undergone independent third-party testing in accordance with applicable regulations.
EU REACH Compliance (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006)
1) Automotive Wrap Film (PVC-Based)
TeckWrap automotive wrap films are manufactured using polymeric PVC-based materials intended for professional vehicle wrapping applications. Representative automotive wrap film samples have been independently tested by third-party laboratories in accordance with EU REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, including Article 33(1) requirements related to Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).
Based on the current SVHC Candidate List published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), the tested samples were confirmed to meet applicable EU REACH SVHC requirements under the defined test conditions.
2) Color Paint Protection Film (TPU-Based)
TeckWrap Color Paint Protection Films are manufactured using advanced TPU-based materials, incorporating pigmentation and multilayer protective coatings designed for long-term vehicle surface protection. Representative Color PPF samples, including multiple colors and product variants, have been independently tested by Intertek Testing Services in accordance with EU REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.
The testing assessed compliance with:
- REACH Article 33(1) (SVHC information obligations), and
- EU Waste Framework Directive (2008/98/EC), including SCIP notification requirements.
The test results confirmed that the tested Color PPF samples meet applicable EU REACH SVHC requirements, with no SVHC detected above the 0.1% (w/w) threshold, based on the current ECHA Candidate List.
Tested Product Scope (Color PPF)
The Color PPF compliance testing included representative samples from the following product categories and variants, among others:
- Color Paint Protection Film CPX Series
- Black and matte Color PPF variants
- Transparent and specialty PPF films
These samples were tested as representative production materials intended for the European market.
