Description

A grey finish can feel distant when all the warmth disappears. TeckWrap’s High Gloss Vintage Grey brings back the soft champagne tone that once defined European luxury paint. 

Key Attributes

  • Champagne over chrome: warm light silver-grey with a soft beige undertone, built to avoid the cold, digital look of newer silvers.
  • Heritage-inspired gloss: polymeric multilayered hybrid film gives the finish creamy reflections and paint-like depth instead of a harsh metallic shine. 
  • Bubble-free finish: air release channels clear trapped air during application, so panels sit flat with no bubbling.
  • Heat-responsive film: wraps around mirrors, curves, and moderate recessed panels with controlled heat.
  • Grips through weather: Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive stays transparent and holds through changing weather.
  • Comes off clean: adhesive lifts without residue, leaving the factory paint exactly as it was   

Vintage Grey never settles on a single shade. Early morning light brings out a soft champagne glow, while midday reflections reveal a clean light silver. Late afternoon adds a gentle titanium character across the bodywork. Instead of flashing bright white like contemporary silvers, the reflections stay creamy, giving broad panels a smooth, almost hand-finished appearance. The warmth isn't obvious from across a parking lot. It reveals itself gradually as the light moves.

Warranty

  • Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.

Application
  • Application temperature: +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 95–100°C (gloss finish)
  • Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Non-directional film
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Aftercare: pH-neutral products only, avoid hot wax or strong solvents
