Descrizione

I blu scuri tendono solitamente a diventare neri all’ombra e a rimanere tali. TeckWrap Space Blue rivela tonalità metalliche color zaffiro, riflessi cobalto e sottili sfumature verde-azzurro in condizioni di luce intensa, per poi tornare a un colore quasi nero. 

Caratteristiche principali

  • Blu scuro con profondità: le scaglie metalliche color zaffiro intenso racchiudono un sottotono ciano-verde acqua che emerge solo sotto una luce intensa.
  • Metallizzato con variazione cromatica: le sottili scaglie di alluminio fanno passare la finitura dal quasi nero al cobalto elettrico senza perdere in brillantezza.
  • Lucentezza che rimane nitida: la pellicola ibrida polimerica multistrato e il pigmento metallico producono riflessi chiari e una forte separazione dei colori. 
  • Adesione resistente alle intemperie: l’adesivo acrilico a solvente Henkel resiste all’umidità e all’esposizione ai raggi UV, garantendo che la pellicola rimanga ben fissata all’esterno. 
  • Pellicola termoformabile: avvolge curve, specchi e pannelli moderatamente incassati senza sollevarsi o staccarsi.  

TeckWrap Space Blue si colloca tra il blu notte, il blu zaffiro metallizzato e le tonalità dell’oceano profondo. In condizioni di scarsa illuminazione, appare quasi nero, mantenendo la propria identità invece di appiattirsi. La luce diretta fa emergere un cobalto vivido, con sfumature di verde acqua che traspaiono attraverso riflessi caldi. Anziché presentare un’unica tonalità di blu, Space Blue assume molteplici sfaccettature nel corso della giornata.

  • Stessa profondità del BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue II.
  • Più brillante del Ford Antimatter Blue.   
  • Più sportivo del Lexus Deep Sea Mica

BMW e Ford non hanno più l'esclusiva su quella sfumatura che va dallo zaffiro al nero. TeckWrap Ultra Gloss Space Blue la porta su una Mustang, una Model 3, una C8 o qualsiasi veicolo che non l'abbia mai offerta di serie.

  • Adhesion: 70 (standard ≥60, no shifting)
  • Aging tested: -65°C to +65°C, no residue
  • Storage shelf life: 2 years at +10°C to +20°C, 50% RH, dry conditions, away from sunlight.

Warranty

  • Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: soft squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Directional film. Orient all panels in the same direction for a consistent metallic flake appearance
  • Conformability: flat, curved, and recessed surfaces (do not overstretch)
  • Post-heat: 100°C flat surfaces, 120°C curves and overlaps
  • Cure time: 24 hours above 15°C; 48 hours at room temperature recommended for maximum adhesive activation
  • A steam vacuum or an IR heater is recommended for installation
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Aftercare: pH-neutral products only, avoid hot wax or strong solvents
