Not very forgiving when installing, but very vibrant color! It’s been on a year and a half. Color still looks fantastic. Would order again

Description

Olive goes wrong in two directions. It drifts toward army-surplus drab, or it sinks into muddy brown. TeckWrap High Gloss French Olive holds the line between them, keeping a warm yellow-green core with the gloss doing the rest of the work.

Key Attributes

  • Warm olive core: dense yellow-green pigment over an earthy base, saturated rather than washed toward grey.
  • Super Gloss HD surface: premium polymeric hybrid film with a PET top layer delivers wet-paint clarity with no orange peel.
  • Bond that holds: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and ultra weather-resistant, releases without residue.
  • Paint stays protected: removable adhesive lifts clean and leaves the factory finish underneath untouched.
  • Non-directional handling: panels nest in any orientation, so there is no flake alignment to manage and less offcut waste.

TeckWrap French Olive sits in vintage European territory, somewhere between olive, moss, sage, and bronze-gold. Warm sun pulls a golden olive out of it with a bronze cast along the shoulders and hood. Overcast light flattens it toward a military sage. Deep shade drops it into a darker moss green, and sharp reflections skim across the panel almost metallic. The result reads as luxury olive rather than utility olive, and the gloss is what keeps it on that side of the line.

OEM Match

  • Closest to Porsche Olive Green (Olivgrün) from the PTS palette.
  • Same vintage-sport character as Audi District Green.
  • Same heritage lane as Audi Goodwood Green.
  • Warmer and more yellow-toned than Land Rover's British SUV greens.

Olive at this level normally arrives as a paid-to-order PTS commission or a limited launch color on a single model year. TeckWrap French Olive brings that same warm European olive to an Audi A6, RS6, Q7, or Q8, a Porsche 911, Cayenne, or Macan, a Defender or Range Rover Sport, a BMW X5 or X7, or a Mercedes GLS.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Price per roll

$80 to $350 per roll. Cheap upfront, then you pay a shop to strip it.

Film construction

Monomeric calendered vinyl. Shrinks back off the edges within months.

Release liner

Paper liner. Curls in storage and telegraphs into the finish.

Adhesive system

Rubber based. Grabs on contact and leaves residue on removal.

Warranty and removal

None stated, or a term with nothing behind it.

Color and finish range

A short list of solids. Color drifts between production batches.

The smart way

TeckWrap Film

Professional-grade film at an honest price. Reversible, paint-safe, and color-shifting.

Price per roll

From $399 per roll, enough film to cover a standard sedan.

Film construction

High-grade polymeric multilayered hybrid vinyl with built in air release.

Release liner

Plastic PET release liner, holds the film tension flat for clean gloss off the roll.

Adhesive system

Henkel solvent acrylic. Repositions during install, peels back paint safe.

Warranty and removal

3 years vertical, rated by climate zone and panel. Claims paid.

Color and finish range

Over 220 colors in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, color shift.

See the finish in person before you commit.

The legacy way

Legacy Brand Film

Comparable film, but you pay a brand premium.

Price per roll

$600 to $900 or more per roll for the same coverage.

Film construction

Comparable construction, priced as if the badge were a material.

Release liner

Same plastic liner standard, at roughly double the roll price.

Adhesive system

Same acrylic chemistry class, with a brand premium on top.

Warranty and removal

Long headline term. Read the exclusion list before you trust it.

Color and finish range

Solid core range, thin on color shift and specialty finishes.
