Description

Bright oranges either become traffic-cone loud or burnt-pumpkin dark. TeckWrap's Papaya Orange stays right in the middle. It blends papaya, coral, peach, and soft tangerine into one rich factory-inspired finish.

Key Attributes

  • Coral-balanced color: warm papaya orange with peach and coral undertones that help the color keep its character.
  • Gloss with real depth: polymeric multilayered hybrid film creates a wet paint appearance with strong color clarity.
  • Trusted adhesive: Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive stays transparent, resists weather, and removes without leaving residue.
  • Heat-conformable film: wraps around curves, mirrors, bumpers, and moderate recessed areas with heat.
  • Smooth installation: premium PET release liner keeps the film flat to help produce a glass-like finish.

TeckWrap’s Papaya Orange changes mood with light. Direct sunlight brings out a bright papaya tone with warm golden reflections that give the surface a freshly painted look. Shade and cloudy conditions reveal softer coral, peach, and light salmon notes. This shade carries depth instead of relying on pure saturation. Many bright oranges chase intensity alone. Papaya Orange balances brightness with soft coral warmth, giving it a more factory-inspired look.

OEM Match

  • Closest to Lamborghini Arancio Borealis (Huracán, Aventador).
  • Same saturation as McLaren Papaya Spark.
  • Lighter than Porsche Lava Orange (911 GT3 RS, 718).
  • Softer than Ford Orange Fury.

Drivers who admire these factory oranges can bring the same warm, high-gloss look to a Supra, Mustang, or any other vehicle with TeckWrap’s Papaya Orange Vinyl.

Warranty

Built for long-term outdoor use, with up to 3 years of durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Horizontal surfaces such as roofs, hoods, and bonnets take the most sun and weather and carry a shorter expected life. The warranty covers manufacturing defects such as bubbling, cracking, and adhesive failure when the film is properly stored, professionally installed, and maintained per the care guidance. It does not cover abrasion, scratches, gloss change, or normal wear. Heat-removable within 2 years for the cleanest removal, with minimal adhesive residue.

Application

  • Surface: apply only to a clean, sound, fully cured OEM factory finish. Repainted, primed, aftermarket, or damaged surfaces can affect adhesion and removal and fall outside warranty coverage.
  • Remove the top protective PET layer before installation. Do not store rolls with the top layer on as this causes tunneling in the film.
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee with soft buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, gloves
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 95°C
  • Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
  • Overlap: 3 to 4 mm
  • Non-directional film
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Professional installation strongly recommended for the best result and to keep the warranty valid
  • Aftercare: hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo (pH 3 to 11). Avoid waxes, solvents, and petroleum-distillate products, and never use automatic washes, brushes, or high-pressure washers.
