Description

Gloss black only works when it stays black and does not pick up a blue or brown cast. TeckWrap's Ultimate Black keeps its neutral piano-black finish and mirror-deep reflection whether it's parked in the sun or sitting in a garage.

  • Henkel adhesive hold: transparent solvent-based acrylic adhesive stays secure through changing weather.
  • Panel control: wraps around mirrors, curves, and recessed panels without lifting at the edges.  
  • Paint-safe removal: the film removes without residue, leaving the factory paint underneath untouched.  

Ultimate Black doesn't rely on metallic flakes or hidden undertones to create depth. Its character comes from pure black pigment and a high-gloss finish. Under direct sunlight, it produces sharp, high-contrast reflections that define every body line. Indoors and after sunset, it keeps the same wet piano-black appearance instead of drifting toward grey or washed-out charcoal. It looks more like freshly polished factory paint than a traditional vinyl wrap.

Warranty

  • Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.

Application
  • Application temperature: +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 95–100°C (gloss finish)
  • Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Non-directional film
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Aftercare: pH-neutral products only, avoid hot wax or strong solvents
