Description

Trends in car color come and go; grey outlasts all of them. We made Stone Grey for the buyer thinking in years, a calm, sophisticated medium grey that still looks right long after brighter choices have dated, on a film built to protect the paint for just as long.

It is a mild, refined medium grey, soft and neutral under a liquid gloss, lighter and calmer than a dark gunmetal and warmer than a bright silver.

You can get this grey as a vinyl wrap or as Stone Grey Color PPF. Vinyl is the lighter-commitment route, the color you can change out later. Stone Grey carries the color on a stone-chip armor layer, keeping the factory paint protected underneath while the grey goes on. The choice comes down to whether you want the paint protected as well as recolored.

Warranty

5-year TeckWrap warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, delamination, and material defects. Improper installation, physical impact damage, and scratches beyond the self-healing range are not covered.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Service range: -40°C to +50°C
  • Dry-install system, no wet solution required (air-release channels handle film placement)
  • Tools: squeegee with soft buffer, heat gun, knife, microfiber cloth
  • Repositionable during installation due to to low-tack PSA
  • Conformability: complex curves, hoods, fenders, bumpers, mirrors, full body panels
  • Post-heat: activate adhesive after final positioning
  • Cure: 24–48 hours for full adhesion
  • Use same production batch for full vehicle, label and store leftovers by batch code
  • Avoid waxing or pressure-washing for the first 7 days
  • Surface must be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated before installation
