Description

Zenith70 is the clarity anchor of the best-selling ceramic series.

Key attributes:

  • Visible light transmission (VLT): 75 ± 2%
  • Total solar energy rejected (TSER): 45 ± 2%
  • Infrared rejection (IRR): 88%
  • Ultraviolet rejection (UVR): over 99%
  • Internal visible light reflectance: 9%
  • 2 mil nano-ceramic, 8-year warranty

Visible light transmission of 75% keeps the windshield legally and visually open, while infrared rejection reaches 88% and total solar energy rejection 45%. Ultraviolet rejection exceeds 99%. The proposition here is not privacy, it is a clear windshield that stops radiating heat into the cabin.

Internal reflectance is 9%, low enough that the glass does not throw the dashboard back at the driver after dark. The nano ceramic construction is entirely non metallic, so GPS, cellular, radio and driver assistance sensors operate normally.

Zenith is the volume ceramic tier and this is its highest transmission position. Confirm windshield tint regulations locally. The film also suits front side windows where the customer needs maximum forward visibility.

Infrared Transmittance (IR): 12 ± 2% (88% rejection)
Ultraviolet Rejection (UVR): over 99%
Total Solar Energy Rejected (TSER): 45 ± 2%

Durability
2 mil construction adds shatter resistance to the glass
Non-metallic construction, no interference with mobile, GPS, radio or TPMS signals
Scratch-resistant hard coat on the exposed surface
Dimensionally stable across the service temperature range
Colour stable, does not fade to purple with age

Warranty
8-year TeckWrap limited warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and excessive colour change.

Application

Professional installation strongly recommended
Apply at +17°C to +23°C in a dust-free environment
Service temperature range: -45°C to +45°C
Wet application with slip and tack solutions
Tools: squeegee with soft buffer, hard card, heat gun, knife, masking tape, microfiber cloth, gloves, IR thermometer
Conformability: smooth and medium-curved glass
Directional film, check orientation before cutting
Overlap 3 to 4 mm where panels meet
Post-heat to set the adhesive once the film is squeegeed out
Remove the protective cap before installation
Allow 7 to 14 days to cure before rolling the windows down
Do not clean the film for 7 days after installation
After cure, clean with an ammonia-free glass cleaner and a soft microfiber cloth only
Verify local window tint laws before installation. At 75% VLT this film clears the 70% threshold applied to front side windows in many regions, though some still prohibit any film on the windshield below the AS-1 line.

TeckWrap warrants this film for 8 years against bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and excessive colour change under normal use. In the event of a valid claim TeckWrap will replace the product or provide compensation at its sole discretion. This is the exclusive obligation of TeckWrap Inc.

The warranty does not cover normal wear, transportation, labour, consequential damages, improper installation, damage caused by abrasive or ammonia-based cleaning, or physical impact. Film applied to damaged, pitted or previously tinted glass is not covered.

Local laws on automotive window tint vary significantly by region and may restrict VLT on specific windows. The buyer is responsible for confirming legal compliance before installation. Screen images may vary from the physical product, refer to a physical sample. Use film from the same production lot across all windows on a vehicle to keep colour consistent.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

How it blocks heat

✕Dye absorbs light. The glass heats up and radiates inward.

Solar energy rejected

✕Around 35 to 45 percent, even on the darkest shade.

Infrared rejection

✕Low, and it falls further as the dye breaks down.

Signal interference

✕Metallized film blocks GPS, keyless entry, and radio reception.

Color stability

✕Turns purple, fades, and bubbles as the adhesive fails.

Warranty

✕A shop warranty that ends when the shop closes.

The smart way

TeckWrap Film

Professional-grade film at an honest price. Reversible, paint-safe, and color-shifting.

How it blocks heat

Rejects infrared instead of absorbing it, so the glass stays cooler.

Solar energy rejected

Up to 70 percent total solar energy rejected, stated per SKU.

Infrared rejection

Up to 93 percent infrared rejection, published on every product page.

Signal interference

Ceramic lines are non metallic. Phone, GPS and TPMS unaffected.

Color stability

Does not fade to purple. Color change is a covered warranty failure.

Warranty

Eight years, manufacturer backed. Five on the sputtered silver lines.

The legacy way

Legacy Brand Film

Comparable film, but you pay a brand premium.

How it blocks heat

–Ceramic or multilayer. Same method, at the legacy brand price.

Solar energy rejected

–High TSER across the range, with a matching price tag.

Infrared rejection

–High IRR. Check which band it was measured on.

Signal interference

–Ceramic lines are clear of it. Metallized lines are not.

Color stability

–Color stable across the warranty period, at a higher price.

Warranty

–Lifetime on paper. Read what the exclusions actually remove.

Window Film / Zenith nano ceramic FAQ

Find it by topic

Choosing & buying
Which shade should I take?

Zenith30 unless you have a reason. At 30 percent visible light transmission it reads as a proper tint from outside, gives real privacy and glare control, and still leaves enough light for shoulder checks and reversing after dark. Zenith15 closes the rear cabin down properly for cargo and passengers. Zenith70 is for windshields and front sides where visibility is the priority.

Can I put ceramic on the windshield?

Where the law allows it, and Zenith70 is the film for it. At 75 percent transmission the glass stays visually open while still cutting 88 percent of infrared and 45 percent of total solar energy. The proposition is not privacy, it is a windshield that stops radiating heat at your hands and face.

Installing
The film looks hazy and there are small bubbles. Is it faulty?

Almost never. That is mounting solution still evaporating through the film, and it clears on its own. Give it a few days in warm weather and up to a few weeks in cold. Cure time is 24 hours minimum above 15°C (59°F) before you touch it.

When can I roll the windows down?

Not for at least 24 hours, and longer in cold weather. Dropping a window before the adhesive has set drags the film edge down into the door and peels it. This is the single most common self inflicted failure on a fresh tint job.

Damage & durability
Will it turn purple or bubble in a few years?

Not on these constructions. Purple fade and bubbling are dyed film failures, where the dye breaks down and the adhesive goes with it. Sputtered metal and nano ceramic layers hold color and performance instead of drifting. Zenith carries an 8 year warranty, Ionix 5 years.

Specs & performance
Will it affect the rear defroster or the antenna?

No. The construction is entirely non metallic, which is the reason to choose it on rear glass carrying defroster grids and embedded antennas. Nothing in the film interferes with signal.

Is 2 mil thinner than it should be?

It is the right thickness for the job. Ceramic performance comes from the particle layer, not from bulk, and 2 mil handles installation and daily use with an 8 year warranty behind it. Extra thickness on a window film buys you nothing except a harder install.

Does darker mean cooler?

No, and this is the most expensive misunderstanding in tinting. Darkness is privacy and glare. Heat rejection is construction. Zenith70 at 75 percent visible light transmission still rejects 88 percent of infrared and 45 percent of total solar energy, while a cheap dark dyed film can reject far less heat than that while making the car harder to see out of. Buy the construction, then choose the shade.

Which number should I actually compare?

TSER, not IR rejection. Infrared rejection measures one slice of the spectrum and is the number films are marketed on because it reads highest. Total Solar Energy Rejected accounts for the whole solar load, which is what you feel. When a film advertises a huge IR number and never prints its TSER, that is the answer.

Why does internal reflectance matter?

Because you drive at night. High internal reflectance turns the inside of the glass into a mirror after dark and throws your own dashboard back at you. Both Zenith and Ionix hold internal reflectance to about 6 percent, which is low for the category and is a comfort figure nobody advertises.
