Description

Most textured carbon vinyl reads as a flat pattern printed onto film. Twill Carbon (RCF11) doesn't, it reproduces the real 2x2 diagonal twill weave used in genuine dry-carbon parts, under a deep gloss that gives it actual dimension. It's built for the exact panels where people expect to see real carbon: mirror caps, spoilers, hood scoops, and trim.

Key Attributes

  • Authentic 2x2 twill weave: the diagonal pattern used in real dry-carbon components, not a plain box-weave imitation.
  • Deep gloss over genuine texture: the weave holds its dimension under the topcoat instead of flattening into a printed look.
  • Premium polymeric hybrid film with air-release channels: consistent, bubble-free installation.
  • Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive: transparent, ultra-weather-resistant, safe on factory paint, clean removal.
  • Built for accent and detail work: spoilers, mirror caps, hood scoops, roof accents, side skirts, interior trim, badge accents, and motorcycle fairings, not intended for full-vehicle wraps.

Twill's diagonal weave behaves differently under light than a plain box-weave carbon. Instead of a grid of even glints, the diagonal ribs catch and release light in a rolling wave that sweeps across the panel as the viewing angle shifts, a more dynamic reflection than a flat grid produces.

OEM Match

Unlike a plain box-weave carbon, 2x2 twill is the actual weave pattern most genuine OEM and performance-brand carbon parts use, so these comparisons are grounded rather than a stretch:

  • Matches the diagonal 2x2 twill pattern used in BMW M Carbon exterior trim
  • Same weave style as Audi RS carbon mirror caps and mirror housings
  • Comparable to Porsche's Weissach-package carbon-fiber trim

If a customer specifically wants their wrap to match factory M/RS/Weissach-style carbon trim rather than a generic carbon look, Twill Carbon is the one to reach for, it's the pattern those factory parts actually use.

What makes Twill Carbon RCF11 stand out:

  • Premium 4D twill-pattern carbon fiber vinyl wrap, deep gloss realistic texture
  • Polymeric hybrid film with air-release channels
  • Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and ultra-weather-resistant
  • High-grade PET liner that ensures a perfect smooth finish and adhesive protection
  • Conformable to spoilers, mirrors, hoods, and medium-curved surfaces
  • Dimensional stability with less than 2% shrinkage
  • UV-tested durability for outdoor performance
  • Safe removable adhesive, protects factory paint underneath

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Price per roll

$80 to $350 per roll. Cheap upfront, then you pay a shop to strip it.

Film construction

Monomeric calendered vinyl. Shrinks back off the edges within months.

Release liner

Paper liner. Curls in storage and telegraphs into the finish.

Adhesive system

Rubber based. Grabs on contact and leaves residue on removal.

Warranty and removal

None stated, or a term with nothing behind it.

Color and finish range

A short list of solids. Color drifts between production batches.

The smart way

TeckWrap Film

Professional-grade film at an honest price. Reversible, paint-safe, and color-shifting.

Price per roll

From $399 per roll, enough film to cover a standard sedan.

Film construction

Color and finish range

Over 220 colors in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, color shift.
