Description

Most satin wraps wash out in direct sun. Surf Blue doesn't. It holds a cool coastal tone with a subtle undertone that stays true from shade to sunlight.

Key Attributes

  • Surf-tone depth: light-medium blue with a green anchor in the base and a crisp blue face that keeps the color from drifting pink or purple in low light
  • Satin metallic sheen: fine metallic grain catches the light without the full gloss reflection, giving it a refined, low-glare presence that reads as premium, not flashy
  • Color stability: polymeric multilayered film locks the pigment in place so the blue holds its temperament across temperature changes and UV exposure
  • Clean application: Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive, transparent and weatherproof, bonds firmly and removes residue-free
  • Heat-conformable: glides over curved panels, mirror housings, and bumper recesses without lifting or silvering
  • Paint-safe: removable adhesive leaves your factory clear coat untouched

Surf Blue sits at the intersection of a coastal sky and tropical water. The satin finish kills the glare, so the metallic flake doesn't compete with the color; it supports it. Push it into the sun and you get a bright electric flash. Pull it into the shade and it deepens without going muddy, a trick most light blues can't manage. Stand it next to a standard satin blue and it makes the other look washed out and flat. This is a performance blue finished in satin, built to stay dimensional.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Price per roll

$80 to $350 per roll. Cheap upfront, then you pay a shop to strip it.

Film construction

Monomeric calendered vinyl. Shrinks back off the edges within months.

Release liner

Paper liner. Curls in storage and telegraphs into the finish.

Adhesive system

Rubber based. Grabs on contact and leaves residue on removal.

Warranty and removal

None stated, or a term with nothing behind it.

Color and finish range

A short list of solids. Color drifts between production batches.

Color and finish range

Over 220 colors in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, color shift.
