Description

Hot Pink changes character with the sun. In daylight it's a bright, electric magenta-pink, loud and frozen and unmissable. Move it indoors or into shade and it sinks into a deeper violet-magenta, richer and moodier, with a satin metallic pearl running underneath the whole time. There's no pastel softness and no coral warmth here, the tone stays cold and saturated, a frozen exotic magenta rather than a flat candy pink.

It bridges two worlds. On the American side it's the wild factory pink of Jeep Tuscadero and Dodge Furious Fuchsia, the satin descendant of Plymouth Panther Pink. On the European side it's modern supercar satin magenta, the Ruby Star and Frozen Berry direction, cleaner and more metallic than the old muscle pinks. Next to Antique Rose, the contrast is the whole point: Antique Rose is muted rose-gold, Hot Pink is electric and aggressive.

It belongs on builds that want to be seen and photographed: a Tesla Model 3 and Model Y, a Dodge Challenger, a BMW M2 and M4, a Porsche 911, a Lamborghini Huracan, a Mercedes-AMG GT, a Nissan GT-R, an Audi RS3, a Toyota GR Supra, a Mini Cooper.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Service range: -35°C to +35°C
  • Tools: standard squeegee with soft (wet) buffer
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces, avoid overstretching
  • Directional film, check orientation before cutting
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Post-heat: 95°C
  • Cure: 24 hrs (48 hrs recommended)
  • Handle the satin chrome surface carefully; it can scratch during install
