Description

Most black with a hint of color wraps give the tint away immediately, even in the shade. Satin Silk Green Black doesn't. It holds a true stealth black until direct light finds the metallic flake, then forest-green and bottle-green surface along every curve.

Key Attributes

  • Two-tone reveal: reads black-on-black in shade and overcast light, opens up to forest-green and bottle-green tones the moment direct sun hits the panel
  • Fine metallic flake: built into a black base rather than a green one, so the shift stays subtle instead of loud or glittery
  • Silk satin texture: diffuses reflections into something closer to a factory duotone paint than a typical wrap sheen
  • Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and weather-resistant, removes without residue
  • Heat-conformable: wraps around mirrors, bumpers, and moderate recessed panels with confidence
  • Paint-safe: removable adhesive protects the factory finish underneath

Park it in a garage or catch it on an overcast day and Satin Silk Green Black reads as close to featureless black as a wrap gets, flat, dark, and moody in photos. Take it into direct sun and the base opens up, fine metallic flake catches the light, and deep emerald and bottle-green tones surface along every body line and curve. Because the flake sits inside a black base rather than a green one, the shift stays controlled rather than flashy, closer to how a factory duotone paint behaves than a color-shift wrap chasing attention.

OEM Match

  • Closest to Lamborghini Verde Sottobosco in direct light
  • Deeper and darker than Jaguar British Racing Green
  • More restrained than McLaren Aurora Green, which stays visibly green even in shade

That stealth-black-until-the-light-hits-it effect that made the Midnight Purple R34 famous now fits a Model Y, WRX, Civic Type R, or F-150 just as easily as a Huracán or a GT-R.

Warranty

Built for long-term outdoor use, with up to 3 years of durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Horizontal surfaces such as roofs, hoods, and bonnets take the most sun and weather and carry a shorter expected life. The warranty covers manufacturing defects such as bubbling, cracking, and adhesive failure when the film is properly stored, professionally installed, and maintained per the care guidance. It does not cover abrasion, scratches, gloss change, or normal wear. Heat-removable within 2 years for the cleanest removal, with minimal adhesive residue.

Application

  • Surface: apply only to a clean, sound, fully cured OEM factory finish. Repainted, primed, aftermarket, or damaged surfaces can affect adhesion and removal and fall outside warranty coverage.
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee with soft buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 90°C
  • Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
  • Overlap: 3 to 4 mm
  • Directional film. Keep orientation consistent across all panels and use one production LOT per vehicle to avoid color variation between panels.
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Professional installation strongly recommended for the best result and to keep the warranty valid
  • Aftercare: hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo (pH 3 to 11). Avoid waxes, solvents, and petroleum-distillate products, and never use automatic washes, brushes, or high-pressure washers.
