Description

Lapis Blue saves its best for after dark. In daylight it's a deep cobalt with an almost-anodized satin metallic depthm electric blue and violet flashing across the highlights, midnight navy holding in the shadows. Come nightfall it goes properly electric, a liquid sapphire that grabs every streetlight and headlight, while the satin keeps it vivid instead of letting it tip into cheap candy.

Key Attributes

  • Cobalt by day, electric by night: a deep cobalt base with electric blue and violet highlights and midnight-navy shadows that lifts to liquid sapphire the moment artificial light hits it.
  • Anodized satin metal: a silver-coated metalized film beneath the blue tint gives an anodized, forged-metal depth, reflective, but held to a satin sheen rather than a glossy candy shine.
  • Directional and delicate: as a metalized film it's directional and needs a careful hand, orient every panel the same way, and avoid the crumpling, overstretching, or excess heat that can mark the metal layer.
  • Lays flat, less orange peel: a high-grade release liner drops the film down smooth, and Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive with air-release channels clears trapped air across large panels.
  • Paint-safe removal: weatherproof through the life of the wrap and heat-removable, lifting cleanly and leaving the factory paint underneath untouched.

This is a blue built for movement and low light. In flat daylight it holds a deep, serious cobalt with a shimmer that reads almost anodized, roll it under streetlights, garage lighting, or passing headlights and it wakes into a vivid electric sapphire, blue and violet chasing each other across the panels. The shadows never fully let go of that midnight navy, so even at its brightest it keeps depth rather than going flat and neon.

OEM Match

  • Closest to a darkened BMW Yas Marina Blue, the same electric-blue energy, dialed deeper.
  • Shares the vivid character of Porsche Shark Blue, with added metallic depth.
  • Reads like a modernized Audi Nogaro Blue, that deep blue-violet RS tone.
  • Same performance-blue family as Corvette Elkhart Lake Blue.
  • Brighter and more electric than a restrained executive navy like BMW Tanzanite Blue.

These are the loud, special-order performance blues that live on M-cars, RS builds, and GT specials. TeckWrap Lapis Blue puts that under-the-streetlights electric cobalt on an M4, a 911, a GT-R, an RS6, or any car that never offered it and it earns its keep after dark.
