Description

Most purples split into two disappointing camps, pink-tinted grape or muddy plum-red. Violet Purple does neither. It holds a clean, cold blue-violet base that lifts into vivid ultraviolet the moment direct light hits it.

Key Attributes

  • Cold, saturated base: blue-violet at rest, with no pink softness and no wine-red warmth pulling it off-tone
  • Electric highlight in direct light: the same panel lifts into a vivid ultraviolet with bright purple flashes under sun
  • Satin-over-metalized base: a fine silver coating beneath the color gives the purple a frozen-metallic depth rather than a flat candy finish
  • Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and weather-resistant, removes residue-free
  • Smooth lay-down: high-grade release liner keeps the film tension-flat, reducing orange-peel texture during install
  • Paint-safe: removable adhesive protects the factory finish underneath

In the shade, Violet Purple holds a deep, cold blue-violet with a quiet metallic shimmer underneath, closer to a frozen special-order color than a typical aftermarket purple. Direct sun lifts the same panel into a vivid ultraviolet, with bright highlights flashing off every curve. Because the color runs on a satin-over-silver base rather than a flat pigment layer, it stays saturated and clean at every angle instead of drifting warm into a wine or grape tone, which is the mistake most aftermarket purples make.

OEM Match

  • Closest to BMW Techno Violet
  • Same electric ultraviolet register as Porsche Ultraviolet
  • Cooler and cleaner than Dodge Plum Crazy
  • More saturated than Jeep Purple Reign

That special-order ultraviolet that BMW and Porsche reserve for their limited runs now fits a Challenger, Model 3, GR Supra, or M4 just as easily as a 911 or Huracán.
