Description

Crimson Red behaves like frozen factory paint, not a wrap. The base is a deep crimson with ruby running underneath, and the satin holds the metallic flake visible through the surface, so light moves across it the way it does on a BMW Individual frozen finish. Direct sun lifts it to a bright performance crimson, shadow pulls it into a darker wine-red, and through all of it the metallic structure stays alive. Muted, rich, and unmistakably OEM.

In TeckWrap's red lineup it's the performance one. Where Sangria is the blackened wine red, jewel-toned and elegant, Crimson is brighter and more frozen, the satin read on a BMW M car rather than a luxury sedan. The character tracks BMW Frozen Pure Red and Frozen Portimao most closely, sits with Audi Tango Red and Porsche Carmine, and carries the deep crimson of a Ferrari Rosso Fuoco.

  • Aging tested +65°C and -65°C: no adhesive residue
  • Storage: 2 years at +10°C to +20°C, 50% RH, in original package, away from direct sunlight

Warranty

  • Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.
  • Metalized films require careful handling. The appearance of the metalized layer can change with crumpling, overstretching, or excessive heat. The film may scratch during application or daily use. The warranty does not cover the scratching of the film.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: soft squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces, avoid overstretching
  • Directional film, check orientation before cutting
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Post-heat: 95°C
  • Cure time: 24 hours above 15°C; 48 hours at room temperature recommended for maximum adhesive activation
  • Handle the satin chrome surface carefully; it can scratch during installation
