Description

Anchor Grey is named for weight, and the color carries it. We built a deep, liquid battleship grey that sits heavy and grounded on a car rather than bright and floating, then laid it over a film that takes the rock chips and debris, so that solid presence stays intact and the paint underneath stays factory.

It is a dark, saturated gunmetal grey with real depth, charcoal and liquid under gloss, far heavier and more industrial than a bright silver.

This grey exists as a vinyl wrap and as Anchor Grey Color PPF. The wrap is the route for a lighter commitment and the freedom to switch finishes later. Anchor Grey puts the color and a stone-chip armor layer in one film, so the factory paint stays protected as the grey goes on. The deciding factor is whether the paint under the color needs defending.

Warranty

5-year TeckWrap warranty against yellowing, cracking, peeling, delamination, and material defects. Improper installation, physical impact damage, and scratches beyond the self-healing range are not covered.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Service range: -40°C to +50°C
  • Dry-install system, no wet solution required (air-release channels handle film placement)
  • Tools: squeegee with soft buffer, heat gun, knife, microfiber cloth
  • Repositionable during installation due to to low-tack PSA
  • Conformability: complex curves, hoods, fenders, bumpers, mirrors, full body panels
  • Post-heat: activate adhesive after final positioning
  • Cure: 24–48 hours for full adhesion
  • Use same production batch for full vehicle, label and store leftovers by batch code
  • Avoid waxing or pressure-washing for the first 7 days
  • Surface must be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated before installation
