Description

Moss Green is the Scandinavian-minimalist sage of the catalog, a soft dusty pastel with heavy grey content, a warm olive base, and very low saturation. The important thing to set up front: this doesn't read as a true green. Most people see sage grey, pistachio, dusty olive cream, or muted eucalyptus before they see green. It's highly light-reactive, reading sage grey under cloud, pale moss in direct sun, warm olive cream at sunset, and pastel pistachio under indoor LEDs. It's glossier and cleaner than OEM sage paint while sharing the muted Scandinavian design language behind current Volvo, Polestar, Hyundai Ioniq, and Rivian factory colors.

This is the soft sage / Scandinavian-EV green of the lineup, and it sits apart from the catalog's olives rather than among them. Where Khaki, French Olive, and Camouflage are saturated, warm, or tactical olives, Moss Green is desaturated, grey-led, and calm. Closer to a sage neutral than a green. (The wider lane also holds Wilderness, Gecko, Gable, Tiffany, and Amphibian.) Calm, mature, and architectural, it's a lifestyle color rather than a performance one, and the gloss is what gives it the wet pastel depth that reads as a factory finish rather than flat paint. It suits modern luxury EVs, Scandinavian platforms, JDM coupes, and minimalist European wagons and crossovers: a Volvo XC60, XC90, EX30, or EX90, a Polestar 2 or 4, a Hyundai Ioniq 5 or 6, a Rivian R1S or R1T, a Tesla Model Y or 3, a Porsche Macan or Taycan, an Audi Q5, A6 Avant, or RS6, a VW Tiguan R-Line or Golf R, a Toyota GR86 or Subaru BRZ, a Land Rover Defender 90, or a Genesis GV70 or GV80.

On OEM references the primary anchor is Volvo Sage Green Metallic, with the Hyundai Ioniq sage as a counterpart, Porsche Stone Grey and the modern PTS soft colors, and a vintage VW Reed Green showing through in low sun.
