Description

Flat lighting is where most greens lose their depth. TeckWrap’s High Gloss Amphibian Green doesn't fade into a shadow. It carries a blue undertone that keeps the emerald visible and turns tropical the moment light hits it.  

Key Attributes

  • Two greens, one wrap: deep emerald under cloudy skies shifts to a teal-green with brighter metallic reflections in direct sun 
  • Liquid jade in reflection: polymeric multilayered hybrid film and metallic pigment create wet-looking jade reflections with greater depth than a standard gloss finish.  
  • Air finds its way out: micro-channel adhesive backing guides trapped air toward the edges, helping large panels lie flat.
  • Weatherproof by design: Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive stays transparent and holds through rain, sun, and temperature swings.
  • Heat-conformable film: wraps mirrors, spoilers, door handles, and moderate recessed areas without lifting. 
  • Factory paint safe: removable adhesive peels away cleanly without leaving residue. 

Amphibian Green changes with the light. Cloud cover pulls it into a dark, blue-leaning emerald. Under direct sun, cooler teal tones rise through the finish. Strong reflections turn the surface into glossy jade with a wet appearance. OEM racing greens in this family usually appear flatter and less saturated. Amphibian Green stays cleaner, sharper, and closer to a gemstone than a factory paint job.

Warranty

  • Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.

Application
  • Application temperature: +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 95–100°C (gloss finish)
  • Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Non-directional film
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Aftercare: pH-neutral products only, avoid hot wax or strong solvents
