Description

True Blood reads as a clean, bright red. It's the sporty, saturated kind, not the deep wine reds that turn burgundy in the shade. You won't find much brown in it and almost no pink, which is what makes it look like a proper supercar red instead of a warm luxury one. Strong sun makes it glow like candy scarlet. Move it into shadow and it drops to a deep blood red, and it does that without ever going muddy or sliding toward wine.

Most reds pick up a brown or magenta cast as the light shifts. This one mostly just brightens or darkens and holds its true red, which is why it lands so close to the modern Ferrari and Corvette performance reds and nowhere near the garnet family. It looks high-energy and exotic, and it suits cars built to be noticed: the Ferrari 488 and F8, a Corvette, the Mercedes-AMG GT, an Alfa Giulia, BMW M4, Mazda MX-5, Civic Type R, or a 911.

Closest OEM colors: Ferrari Rosso Corsa Metallic gets nearest overall. Corvette Torch Red shares the same clean, saturated punch, though True Blood runs a touch deeper. Honda Curva Red has the candy brightness but leans pinker. Alfa Romeo and Mercedes performance reds sit in the same metallic neighborhood.

  • Aging tested: -65°C to +65°C, no residue
  • Storage shelf life: 2 years at +10°C to +20°C, 50% RH, dry conditions, away from sunlight.

Warranty

  • Built for long-term outdoor use, up to 3 years outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Heat-removable, with minimal adhesive residue when removed within the recommended three years.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: soft squeegee with buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
  • Directional film. Orient all panels in the same direction for a consistent metallic flake appearance
  • Conformability: flat, curved, and recessed surfaces (do not overstretch)
  • Post-heat: 100°C flat surfaces, 120°C curves and overlaps
  • Cure time: 24 hours above 15°C; 48 hours at room temperature recommended for maximum adhesive activation
  • A steam vacuum or an IR heater is recommended for installation
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Aftercare: pH-neutral products only, avoid hot wax or strong solvents
