Description

Dry carbon fiber looks great, but it's flat the weave sits under a matte or semi-gloss surface with no real depth. TeckWrap Ceramic Carbon takes the same authentic weave and finishes it with a mirror-gloss, ceramic-style topcoat, so the fiber pattern reads like it's sitting under a fresh clear coat instead of exposed dry cloth.

Key Attributes

  • Mirror gloss over genuine weave: the carbon pattern sits beneath a deep, reflective topcoat instead of a flat matte surface, reads as clear-coated, not raw.
  • Stretch and conform without losing the weave: premium polymeric hybrid PVC handles edges, recesses, and tight curves cleanly.
  • Adhesive built for factory paint: Henkel solvent-based acrylic, transparent and ultra-weather-resistant, installs and removes without damaging the surface underneath.
  • Interior or exterior: works equally well on spoilers, mirrors, trim, and interior panels.

Ceramic Carbon behaves differently in light than a standard dry-carbon wrap. In direct sun, it throws a sharp, mirror-like highlight that rolls across the weave the way it would across a freshly clear-coated panel, the carbon pattern stays visible underneath, not washed out by the gloss. In shade, it holds onto that glassy sheen rather than flattening into matte black, so the surface still reads as reflective and finished even without direct light hitting it.

OEM Match

  • Closest to the gloss level of McLaren MSO clear-coated carbon body panels
  • Comparable depth to factory clear-coated carbon-fiber trim on Ferrari special series models
  • Similar sheen to BMW M Performance gloss-carbon mirror caps
  • In the same territory as Audi RS gloss-carbon mirror accents

If Noir Black (CF01) and Pitch Black (CF02) are the raw dry-carbon options in your lineup, Ceramic Carbon is the one to point customers toward when they want that finished, clear-coated carbon look instead, and it's already your best-reviewed carbon SKU, so it's worth leading with for anyone undecided between the three.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Price per roll

$80 to $350 per roll. Cheap upfront, then you pay a shop to strip it.

Film construction

Monomeric calendered vinyl. Shrinks back off the edges within months.

Release liner

Paper liner. Curls in storage and telegraphs into the finish.

Adhesive system

Rubber based. Grabs on contact and leaves residue on removal.

Warranty and removal

None stated, or a term with nothing behind it.

Color and finish range

A short list of solids. Color drifts between production batches.

The smart way

TeckWrap Film

Professional-grade film at an honest price. Reversible, paint-safe, and color-shifting.

Price per roll

From $399 per roll, enough film to cover a standard sedan.

Film construction

High-grade polymeric multilayered hybrid vinyl with built in air release.

Release liner

Plastic PET release liner, holds the film tension flat for clean gloss off the roll.

Adhesive system

Henkel solvent acrylic. Repositions during install, peels back paint safe.

Warranty and removal

3 years vertical, rated by climate zone and panel. Claims paid.

Color and finish range

Over 220 colors in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, color shift.

The legacy way

Legacy Brand Film

Comparable film, but you pay a brand premium.

Price per roll

$600 to $900 or more per roll for the same coverage.

Film construction

Comparable construction, priced as if the badge were a material.

Release liner

Same plastic liner standard, at roughly double the roll price.

Adhesive system

Same acrylic chemistry class, with a brand premium on top.

Warranty and removal

Long headline term. Read the exclusion list before you trust it.

Color and finish range

Solid core range, thin on color shift and specialty finishes.
