Description

TeckWrap Jet Black (BLK-X) is a gloss black color paint protection film that transforms your vehicle with a deep mirror-black finish while delivering PPF-grade defense. The Lotus Effect hydrophobic top coat repels dirt and water, so the gloss stays clean with minimal upkeep.

At 326 µm total thickness with a 198.5 µm application layer, BLK-X absorbs rock chips and road debris while staying flexible enough to wrap complex curves. Heat stable to 130°C with ≥99% UV rejection to prevent fading.

For blacked-out builds, luxury daily drivers, performance cars, and any owner who wants showroom-fresh deep black without the maintenance battle of factory paint. Backed by TeckWrap's decade of paint protection film manufacturing experience and worldwide installer network.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Service range: -30°C to +45°C
  • Wet application with slip and tack solutions
  • Tools: squeegee with soft buffer, heat gun, knife, microfiber
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 95°C
  • Overlap: 3–4 mm
  • Directional film, check orientation before cutting
  • Cure: 24–48 hours for full adhesion
  • Avoid waxing or pressure-washing for the first 7 days
  • Surface must be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated before install
