the material looked great, the gloss finished looked really good. Customer thought it looked like a paint job.

installers thought it was tricky at first but figured it out and enjoyed working with it.

Customer wasn’t sure at first.. until he saw it

Customer wasn’t sure if he would like it or not, told him to trust the vision after he explained the vibe he was going for and after getting it wrapped how he wanted and putting it back together he was extremely pleased with this color and glad he went with it!

I'm a huge fan of TeckWrap, had the yacht blue on my car for almost 3 years now. Even with the car being exposed to direct sunlight, it has held up so well.

We really like Teckwrap. They offer a wide range of colors. The finishes are with perfect shine and without any orange peel. It's durable and can be removed easily. I always recommend it to my clients!

Description

Pastel blue usually reads one of two ways, candy-cheap, or chalky and washed out. TeckWrap High Gloss Yacht Blue does neither. It holds a soft aqua with enough depth to pass as bespoke paint rather than a light blue wrap.

Key Attributes

  • Coastal pastel aqua: soft blue with a cyan lean and real pigment density, mature instead of nursery-toned.
  • Wet-paint gloss: Super Gloss HD polymeric hybrid film with PET top layer holds a clean mirror with no orange peel.
  • Bond that holds: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and ultra weather-resistant, releases without residue.
  • Paint stays protected: removable adhesive comes off cleanly, leaving the factory finish untouched.
  • Non-directional handling: panels can be laid in any orientation, which simplifies nesting and reduces waste on long jobs.

TeckWrap Yacht Blue lives between aqua, powder blue, and Mediterranean seafoam, with a retro grand-touring softness underneath. Direct sun opens it into a bright, airy aqua. Overcast light adds grey to the base and settles it into a deeper powder blue. Late light brings out a richer marine tone along the lower panels, and the gloss keeps reflections long and clean across the doors. It reads quietly expensive rather than loud.

OEM Match

  • Closest to Porsche Meissen Blue from the PTS heritage palette.
  • Same coastal character as a softened Gulf Blue.
  • Same bespoke register as Bentley Mulliner summer commissions.
  • Slightly deeper than Porsche Albert Blue.
  • Softer and less saturated than BMW Miami Blue.

Heritage pastels like this are usually restricted to bespoke divisions and one-off commissions. TeckWrap Yacht Blue brings the same coastal tone to a Porsche 911 or 718 Boxster, a Bentley Continental GT, an Aston Martin Vantage, a Mercedes SL or CLE Cabriolet, a Lexus LC500, or a 356 and 911 restomod.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Price per roll

$80 to $350 per roll. Cheap upfront, then you pay a shop to strip it.

Film construction

Monomeric calendered vinyl. Shrinks back off the edges within months.

Release liner

Paper liner. Curls in storage and telegraphs into the finish.

Adhesive system

Rubber based. Grabs on contact and leaves residue on removal.

Warranty and removal

None stated, or a term with nothing behind it.

Color and finish range

A short list of solids. Color drifts between production batches.

The smart way

TeckWrap Film

Professional-grade film at an honest price. Reversible, paint-safe, and color-shifting.

Price per roll

From $399 per roll, enough film to cover a standard sedan.

Film construction

High-grade polymeric multilayered hybrid vinyl with built in air release.

Release liner

Plastic PET release liner, holds the film tension flat for clean gloss off the roll.

Adhesive system

Henkel solvent acrylic. Repositions during install, peels back paint safe.

Warranty and removal

3 years vertical, rated by climate zone and panel. Claims paid.

Color and finish range

Over 220 colors in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, color shift.

See the finish in person before you commit.

The legacy way

Legacy Brand Film

Comparable film, but you pay a brand premium.

Price per roll

$600 to $900 or more per roll for the same coverage.

Film construction

Comparable construction, priced as if the badge were a material.

Release liner

Same plastic liner standard, at roughly double the roll price.

Adhesive system

Same acrylic chemistry class, with a brand premium on top.

Warranty and removal

Long headline term. Read the exclusion list before you trust it.

Color and finish range

Solid core range, thin on color shift and specialty finishes.
