Description

Piniengruen Pearl is a deep pine green, dark enough to read close to black in the shade. What separates it from a plain matte is the pearl worked into the finish, which adds a soft shimmer and a sense of depth without any gloss.

Key Attributes

  • Pearl pine green: a dark green with a fine pearl through it, so it shows depth and a faint shimmer instead of one flat tone.
  • Matte, not glossy: the finish stays low in sheen, so the pearl reads as a soft glow in the light rather than a bright reflection.
  • Strong, weatherproof bond: Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive that stays clear, grips well, and stands up to sun and washing.
  • Reversible: heat releases the film cleanly later, with no residue or harm to the paint beneath.
  • Conforms well: stretches over edges, mirrors, and gentle curves, with air-release channels that help it sit flat and bubble-free.

In shade or from a distance, the green sits close to black, with a deep, forest-like quality. As the light hits it, the pearl lifts the color and lays a fine shimmer across the panel, so the same wrap can look near-black one moment and a richer green the next. The shift stays gentle because there is no gloss behind it. Larger panels show it off best, where the depth and the shimmer have room to read.

OEM Match

  • Carries the same classic feel as British Racing Green, but darker and with a pearl.
  • Closer to the deep forest and pine greens used on luxury cars than to any bright green.
  • Far more subdued than an emerald or a grass green.
  • A matte, pearl version of a color usually seen in high gloss.

A dark green like this has always felt classic and a little restrained, and the pearl is what keeps it from looking plain. It works across most body styles, from a compact up to a full-size SUV, and like the rest of the range, it peels off later whenever you want a change.

Warranty

Super matte is a delicate finish and needs more care than gloss or satin. With proper care and a matte-safe ceramic coating, expect up to 3 years of outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Parking indoors or under cover extends the finish. Heat-removable within 2 years for the cleanest removal, with minimal adhesive residue.

Application

  • Surface: apply only to a clean, sound, fully cured OEM factory finish. Repainted, primed, aftermarket, or damaged surfaces can affect adhesion and removal and fall outside warranty coverage.
  • Application temperature: +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: standard squeegee with soft buffer, heat gun, knife, masking tape, gloves
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Directional film, especially the pearl pigment. Keep orientation consistent across all panels and use one production LOT per vehicle to avoid finish variation between panels
  • Overlap: 3 to 4 mm
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Avoid over-buffing and hard squeegee pressure, which can burnish a matte surface to a shine
  • Post-heat: 90°C
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Professional installation strongly recommended for the best result and to keep the warranty valid
  • Aftercare: hand wash with a matte-safe, pH-neutral shampoo (pH 3 to 11). Avoid waxes, polishes, gloss enhancers, solvents, and petroleum-distillate products, and never use automatic washes, brushes, or high-pressure washers.

TeckWrap products are warranted to be free of defects in material for the period of shelf life. In case of defects, TeckWrap will replace the product or compensate at its sole discretion. This is the exclusive obligation of TeckWrap Inc.

Warranty does not cover normal wear, transportation, labor, or consequential damages. Matte and super matte finishes can burnish to a shine if rubbed, scrubbed, or polished, and show fingerprints, water spots, and contaminant staining more readily than gloss. These are normal characteristics of a matte finish and are not covered.

Removal from aged, repainted, or poorly bonded factory paint may lift paint or clear coat. TeckWrap is not responsible for the condition of the underlying paint upon removal.

Screen images may vary, refer to physical color swatches. Use the same production LOT for color consistency. Scratches during application or daily use are not covered.
