Description

Deep purple wraps often swing too blue or lose their richness once the light changes. TeckWrap Gloss Metallic Royal Purple keeps its warm royal-violet tone intact, revealing layered metallic highlights without drifting into electric blue.

Key Attributes

  • Royal-violet metallic finish: rich plum and berry undertones blend with fine metallic flake, giving the color depth that changes with every angle.
  • Gloss that follows the light: polymeric multilayered hybrid film distributes metallic pigment evenly, keeping reflections sharp across large panels and tight body lines.
  • Air has an exit: built-in air-release channels guide trapped air away during installation, helping the film settle into a smooth, even finish.
  • Heat-conformable film: wraps around mirrors and moderate recessed panels while maintaining a consistent metallic finish.
  • Weather-ready hold: Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive stays transparent through changing seasons and resists moisture.
  • Residue-free removal: the adhesive lifts cleanly, helping preserve the factory finish underneath.

Royal Purple reveals more than one side of its personality. In the shade, it settles into a deep violet with rich plum undertones that give the surface a calm, refined appearance. As sunlight reaches the metallic flake, bright amethyst and berry highlights spread across every contour, adding movement without overpowering the base color. Compared with cooler blue-based purples, Royal Purple stays warmer, richer, and closer to a limited-production factory metallic.

Warranty

Built for long-term outdoor use, with up to 3 years of durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Horizontal surfaces such as roofs, hoods, and bonnets take the most sun and weather and carry a shorter expected life. The warranty covers manufacturing defects such as bubbling, cracking, and adhesive failure when the film is properly stored, professionally installed, and maintained per the care guidance. It does not cover abrasion, scratches, gloss change, or normal wear. Heat-removable within 2 years for the cleanest removal, with minimal adhesive residue.

Application

  • Surface: apply only to a clean, sound, fully cured OEM factory finish. Repainted, primed, aftermarket, or damaged surfaces can affect adhesion and removal and fall outside warranty coverage.
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Tools: squeegee, buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer
  • Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
  • Post-heat: 100°C
  • Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
  • Overlap: 3 to 4 mm
  • Directional film, especially metallic colors. Keep film orientation consistent across all panels and use one production LOT per vehicle to avoid color shift between panels.
  • Avoid overstretching during application
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Professional installation strongly recommended for the best result and to keep the warranty valid
  • Aftercare: hand wash with a pH-neutral shampoo (pH 3 to 11). Avoid waxes, solvents, and petroleum-distillate products, and never use automatic washes, brushes, or high-pressure washers.
