Description

Most blue chrome sits on one flat blue. TeckWrap's Nova Blue doesn't. It swirls electric blue into amethyst and midnight as the angle shifts.

Nova Blue is the moody, shifting blue of TeckWrap's chrome lane. Where Indigo Chrome holds one deep indigo mirror, Nova Blue layers amethyst and midnight into the blue so the reflection reads like a night sky moving across the panel, electric in direct light and deep violet-blue in the shade. Like every true chrome it trades stretch for shine, so it lives on roofs, accent panels, and detail work rather than a full body. On the right build it turns a single panel into a depth-charged centerpiece.

Roofs, hoods, accent panels, mirror caps, this is where Nova Blue earns its keep. Put a shifting blue-violet mirror on the parts of the build you want catching every streetlight.

  • Adhesion: 70, no shifting (standard ≥60)
  • Aging tested +65°C and -65°C: minimum adhesive residue
  • Storage: 1 year at +10°C to +20°C, 50% RH, in original package, away from direct sunlight

Warranty

  • Standard TeckWrap limited warranty for chrome film. Scratches, micro-marks, and metalized-layer distortion from overstretching, overheating, or crumpling are characteristic of chrome material and not covered. Use the same production LOT for color consistency across panels.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Standard squeegee with soft buffer
  • A steam vacuum or IR heater is recommended for controlled heating
  • Conformability: smooth and moderately curved surfaces only
  • Limited stretchability, avoid overstretching, crumpling, or aggressive repositioning
  • Overheating permanently distorts the metalized layer
  • Designed for partial wraps, accents, decals, and detailing
  • Not recommended for full vehicle wraps
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Professional installation strongly recommended
