Description

Most satin greys wash out to a flat, chalky mess the second the sun hits. Onyx Grey doesn't. It keeps its metallic depth and stays dark, not dull.

Key Attributes

  • Satin without the haze: fine metallic grain cuts through the satin finish, giving Onyx Grey a low-sheen edge that reads premium, not primer
  • Balanced color tone: The deep grey base highlights body lines while allowing the metallic flake to stay visible in both sunlight and shade.
  • Film that lays flat: polymeric hybrid film with a PET release liner holds tension even across long hoods and roof panels, so you get a smooth finish without stretch marks
  • Adhesive that behaves: clear, weatherproof Henkel acrylic bonds to curves and recesses without lifting, then peels clean when it's time to come off
  • Paint stays paint: removable adhesive leaves factory clear coat untouched, no ghosting, no residue

Onyx Grey runs darker than most satin metallics. In overcast light, it reads like a deep gunmetal with a soft sheen. Under direct sun, the metallic flake sparks just enough to separate it from a solid matte. The satin topcoat cuts glare without killing the grain. Park it next to a standard matte grey and the difference is immediate: this one has structure built in, not sprayed on top.

OEM Match

  • Closest to Audi Daytona Gray Pearl Effect
  • Same darkness as Mercedes Designo Selenite Grey Magno
  • Darker than: BMW Frozen Dark Grey
  • Sportier than Porsche Achat Grey Metallic

Love those German factory greys on an RS6, GT63, or 911? Now put that same dark metallic energy on your M4, C8, or Model 3.
