Description

Matte grey can turn chalky when pale or disappear into black when too deep. Silk Ash stays between those extremes with an even charcoal surface.

Silk Ash reads as medium-dark charcoal rather than black. The grey is nearly neutral, with only a slight cool pull beside warmer surroundings. Soft highlights trace the panel shape without producing isolated shiny patches. Its surface looks smooth and controlled, not coarse, dusty, or heavily silver. Even large flat sections remain calm and evenly muted. It remains charcoal even beside black exterior trim. The muted reflection also leaves creases and body lines readable without making the finish visually busy.

OEM Match

  • Closest to BMW Frozen Dark Grey Metallic: Silk Ash follows its dark matte-grey direction, with a cleaner and more neutral film surface.
  • Lighter and more neutral than Mercedes-Benz Mountain Grey Magno: It removes some visual weight without moving into pale silver.

That measured charcoal finish could suit the broad panels of a Mercedes G-Class, BMW X5 M, Audi RS Q8, or Toyota Land Cruiser.

Warranty
