The purple matte finish looks really clean and gives the car a unique look without being too flashy. The color looks even better in person, and it was fairly easy to work with during installation.

Thanks for the great review! We’re so happy you love the Venetian Purple matte finish and how your car turned out.

Its definitely one of my favorite colors. The material is a little thicker than what I used to installing. I was expecting that, but you can't beat the finish you get. There is a lot of fun colors to choose from. I will definitely be trying a color that stands out for my personal car to promote my business!

That's great! So glad to hear that. Thanks so much for your feedback!

The color is great but slight problem

The color is great. It’s pretty easy to work with, but when it came in the box and is applied to my car, there is streaks of lines on the wrap before Ibefore I applied it. It didn’t look like it would be noticeable, but it definitely is and I am slightly upset about it.

Description

Most purple wraps go neon, tuner, or plain synthetic. TeckWrap's Venetian Violet doesn't. It stays dark and theatrical, shifting from black cherry to electric violet as the light moves.

Key attributes:

  • Theatrical shift: deep satin metallic violet moving through black cherry, plum, and electric violet
  • Engineered finish: pressure-sensitive high-grade Renolit polymeric film with air-release channels for a smooth, even satin
  • Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and removable, peels residue-free
  • Flawless application: high-grade release liner keeps the film protected for an even, smooth satin lay-down
  • Heat-conformable: shapes over curves, mirrors, and recessed panels
  • Paint-safe: removable adhesive protects the factory paint underneath

Venetian Violet is the warm, theatrical end of TeckWrap's purple lane. Where RB40-HD Titanium Violet runs cold and futuristic and SMT22 Black Tulip sits near-black and stealthy, Venetian Violet leans into opera-velvet richness, dark and sophisticated with a cinematic depth that gloss purples flatten out. In motion the satin finish softens the reflections and the color rolls through plum and electric violet, reading more anodized titanium and luxury velvet than tuner purple. Park it next to a synthetic neon purple and it's obvious which one reads expensive.

OEM Match

  • Closest to Porsche Viola Metallic in warmth and depth
  • Same theatrical black-cherry cast as Kia's Black Cherry
  • Same violet-shift richness as Lamborghini Viola Pasifae
  • Warmer and more velvet-toned than a typical cold, frozen purple

Love those rare factory purples on a Porsche or a Lambo? Now put that theatrical depth on your M3, Panamera, or Model S.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Price per roll

$80 to $350 per roll. Cheap upfront, then you pay a shop to strip it.

Film construction

Monomeric calendered vinyl. Shrinks back off the edges within months.

Release liner

Paper liner. Curls in storage and telegraphs into the finish.

Adhesive system

Rubber based. Grabs on contact and leaves residue on removal.

Warranty and removal

None stated, or a term with nothing behind it.

Color and finish range

A short list of solids. Color drifts between production batches.

The smart way

TeckWrap Film

Professional-grade film at an honest price. Reversible, paint-safe, and color-shifting.

Price per roll

From $399 per roll, enough film to cover a standard sedan.

Film construction

High-grade polymeric multilayered hybrid vinyl with built in air release.

Release liner

Plastic PET release liner, holds the film tension flat for clean gloss off the roll.

Adhesive system

Henkel solvent acrylic. Repositions during install, peels back paint safe.

Warranty and removal

3 years vertical, rated by climate zone and panel. Claims paid.

Color and finish range

Over 220 colors in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, color shift.

See the finish in person before you commit.

The legacy way

Legacy Brand Film

Comparable film, but you pay a brand premium.

Price per roll

$600 to $900 or more per roll for the same coverage.

Film construction

Comparable construction, priced as if the badge were a material.

Release liner

Same plastic liner standard, at roughly double the roll price.

Adhesive system

Same acrylic chemistry class, with a brand premium on top.

Warranty and removal

Long headline term. Read the exclusion list before you trust it.

Color and finish range

Solid core range, thin on color shift and specialty finishes.
