Description
Opal White (CPX423) starts from a very light, cool pearl-white direction, but white is not the whole story. A pink pearl shift adds another layer to the finish, giving it an identity that a conventional metallic white reference cannot fully describe.
Key Attributes
- For dry installation, air-release channels help manage trapped air and repositionable adhesive allows adjustments during placement without wet solution.
- Protective TPU helps shield painted panels from stone chips, road debris, and light everyday abrasions.
- Fine surface marks can recover with heat, while the hydrophobic top coat helps water and grime release more readily during regular care.
The base carries a cooler mint-cyan tendency rather than a warm creamy white. Against that pale foundation, the pink pearl component creates the more unusual part of the finish. Both belong to Opal White’s visual identity, so treating it simply as another pearl white would leave too much out.

- Porsche Carrara White Metallic: A useful reference for Opal White’s light white base. Opal White moves more mint-cyan and adds a pink pearl shift beyond that comparison.
A Porsche Taycan gives a pale pearl color plenty of uninterrupted bodywork, but Opal White could just as easily change the character of a Tesla Model Y or BMW i5. Choose it for the combination that makes it different, rather than for an exact factory-paint resemblance, with Color PPF protection added over the painted panels.
