Description

Most reds shout. Sangria Red doesn't. It's a deep, blackened wine, ruby where the light lands, near-black in the shadows, with fine metallic sparkle underneath and a satin sheen that pulls it into forged-metal territory, liquid and rich rather than bright and flat. This is the mature, jewelry-grade red that luxury makers reserve for special-order builds, not the motorsport red of a track car.

Key Attributes

  • Blackened wine, ruby highlights: a deep, dark wine base that flashes ruby where light hits it directly and drops to dark in shadow, with fine metallic sparkle running underneath.
  • Satin metal finish: a silver-coated metalized film under the wine tint gives a soft, liquid, forged-metal sheen, reflective like chrome, but calmed down to satin instead of bright and flat.
  • Directional, handle with care: as a metalized film it's directional (orient every panel the same way) and delicate, crumpling, overstretching, or excess heat can mark the metal layer, so it rewards a careful, experienced install.
  • Smooth-laying film: a high-grade release liner lays the film flat with less orange peel, and Henkel solvent acrylic adhesive with air-release channels keeps large panels bubble-free.
  • Paint-safe removal: the adhesive stays weatherproof through the life of the wrap and heat-removes cleanly, leaving the factory finish underneath untouched.

Sangria Red changes with the light more than any solid red can. In direct sun the wine lifts to a glowing ruby and the metallic base sparks underneath, showing off the forged-metal depth. Move into shade and it collapses into a dark, almost-black wine that reads serious and expensive. The satin keeps every reflection soft and liquid rather than mirror-bright, so the color looks poured on rather than sprayed.

OEM Match

  • Shares the deep, transparent character of Mazda Soul Red Crystal, dropped into a darker wine key.
  • Closest in tone to BMW Aventurin Red Metallic and Jaguar Rossello Red, blackened wine reds with metallic depth.
  • Same jewelry-grade richness as Mercedes-Benz Patagonia Red Metallic.
In the same family as Cadillac Black Cherry.
  • Far darker and more transparent than a bright sports red like Ferrari Rosso Corsa.

These are the mature, special-order reds luxury makers keep for grand tourers and flagship sedans. TeckWrap Sangria Red puts that forged-metal wine on an S-Class, an 8 Series, a Panamera, a Continental GT, or any car that never offered it, without the MANUFAKTUR wait list.
