Super Matte Sandy Black Vinyl Wrap (CM01-MS)

Most matte blacks are flat and one-note. TeckWrap Sandy Black is different. It carries a fine, sand-like grain in a super-matte surface, which gives the black more depth than a plain flat finish. From across the street it reads as solid black. Up close you can see the texture.

Key Attributes

• Super-matte with a sandy grain: a very low-sheen black with a light texture that gives it depth instead of sitting completely flat.
• Almost no glare: the surface scatters nearly all reflected light and keeps an even, non-reflective tone in any condition.
• Henkel adhesive: solvent acrylic adhesive that stays clear and holds up to daily weather.

• Wraps edges and curves: air-release channels and a stretchable film follow edges and moderate curves with a smooth lay-down.

Sandy Black sits just off a standard matte black. In flat light it looks like a deep, soft black with no shine. When the light hits at an angle, the sandy texture catches just enough to show grain, never sparkle. It is a quiet finish. It suits an executive sedan as well as a blacked-out build.

Warranty

Application

• Apply at +18°C to +20°C; service range -30°C to +30°C
• Tools: standard squeegee with soft buffer, heat gun, knife, masking tape, gloves
• Directional film. Orient all panels in the same direction for a consistent matte appearance
• Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces. Stretch into edges and moderate recesses, but do not overstretch
• Overlap width: 3–4 mm
• Remove the protective cap before installation
• Aftercare: matte-specific care only. Wash with pH-neutral products, and avoid wax, gloss restorers, and strong solvents, which will alter the matte finish
