Description

Most chrome wraps only hint at the real thing. TeckWrap's Crystal Chrome doesn't. It's a true polished-steel mirror that throws the whole skyline back at you.

Key Attributes

  • Polished-steel mirror: a true silver mirror chrome that reflects surroundings like polished steel.
  • Chrome construction: conformable PVC film with a metallic silver coating for a true reflective mirror surface.
  • High-impact shine: a liquid-metal mirror reflection built for accents and statement panels.
  • Clean chemistry: Henkel solvent-based moderate adhesive, removable cold within 1 year of installation.
  • Controlled placement: air-release channels and a stable film, under 0.20% shrinkage, for precise application.
  • Installer-grade: limited stretch by design, best applied by experienced installers on partial wraps with steam or IR heat.

Crystal Chrome is the purest expression of the chrome lane, no color cast, just a clean silver mirror that bends light like liquid metal and reflects skylines, sunsets, and everything around it. It's the finish people picture when they say chrome, the one that turns a roof or a set of accents into polished steel. Like every true chrome it trades stretch for reflectivity, so it lives on partial wraps and detail work rather than a full body, and it rewards an experienced installer with controlled heat. Nothing flat or painted reads like a moving mirror.

Roofs, mirror caps, trim, and accent panels are where Crystal Chrome earns its keep. Put a polished-steel mirror on the details you want throwing light back at the street.

Warranty

  • 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. Remove the film within 1 year of installation: cold, without heat, pulling it off quickly at a low angle. Chrome left on longer builds adhesion and can leave adhesive residue or marks in the paint on removal. Full removal and durability terms: TeckWrap Color Change Technical Data Sheet. Scratches, micro-marks, and metalized-layer distortion from overstretching, overheating, or crumpling are characteristic of chrome material and not covered. Use the same production LOT for color consistency across panels.

Application

  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Standard squeegee with soft buffer
  • A steam vacuum or IR heater is recommended for controlled heating
  • Conformability: smooth and moderately curved surfaces only
  • Limited stretchability, avoid overstretching, crumpling, or aggressive repositioning
  • Overheating permanently distorts the metalized layer
  • Designed for partial wraps, accents, decals, and detailing
  • Not recommended for full vehicle wraps
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Professional installation strongly recommended
  • Removal: within 1 year of installation, cold, without heat, pulling the film off quickly at a low angle.

Disclaimer

Chrome and metalized films stretch less than standard color film, and a mirror finish shows every imperfection beneath it. For the best result, especially on full-vehicle wraps, we recommend installers experienced with chrome. Thorough surface prep and controlled heat matter more with chrome than with any other finish. Use rolls from the same production LOT across panels for consistent color.
Color and reflectivity shift with light, viewing angle and surroundings. Screen images may differ from the film, so check a physical swatch before ordering.
TeckWrap chrome and metalized films are warranted to be free of defects in materials for the shelf life period. If a defect is confirmed, TeckWrap will replace the product or issue compensation at its discretion. This is TeckWrap’s sole obligation.
The warranty does not cover labor, transportation, normal wear or consequential damages. It also does not cover characteristics that come from handling rather than the film itself: scratches or micro-marks from installation or daily use, distortion of the metalized layer from overstretching, overheating or creasing, and adhesive residue when the film stays on past the 1-year removal window.
Remove within 1 year of installation. Removal from aged, repainted or poorly bonded paint may lift paint or clear coat, and TeckWrap is not responsible for paint condition on removal.
All TeckWrap statements, technical information and recommendations are based on tests believed to be reliable and do not constitute a guarantee. The buyer is responsible for determining that the product suits their application.
