Description

Step beyond ordinary chrome. TeckWrap Neo-Chrome vinyl wrap delivers a stunning mirror-like reflective finish in five distinctive colors, designed for the driver who wants serious presence without going full body. This isn't a finish that whispers, it's one that catches every light, every angle, and every eye on the road.

Neo-Chrome is built for partial wrap applications, hood treatments, roof contrasts, accent panels, mirror caps, badges, racing stripes, and detail work that transforms an ordinary build into a head-turner. Built from premium PET film with air-release channels and a metalized layer for true reflective depth, paired with Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive that's safe for factory paint and built for clean removal.

Key Attributes

  • Premium PET chrome vinyl wrap with mirror-like reflective finish
  • Five distinctive chrome colors in the series
  • Air-release channels for smooth, controlled installation
  • Henkel solvent-based acrylic adhesive, transparent and ultra-weather-resistant
  • Double-side PE-coated liner (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
  • Dimensional stability less than 0.20% shrinkage
  • 2-year shelf life for storage reliability
  • Available in 3 m, 5 m, 10 m, 15 m, and 18 m roll lengths
  • Designed specifically for partial wrapping, accents, and detailing

Ideal for hood treatments, roof contrasts, racing stripes, mirror caps, badge accents, trim details, decals, signs, and any partial wrap application that demands maximum visual impact. Looks exceptional on Mustang, Corvette, Tesla, BMW, Porsche, motorcycles, or any build where chrome accents elevate the entire design.

OEM Match

  • Occupies the warm end of Ford Mustang Cobra Mystichrome's shift (2004 "Terminator" Cobra) the topaz-green-to-gold-to-copper phase of that DuPont/BASF ChromaFlair paint, without carrying through to the cobalt blue, royal purple, and onyx black that Mystichrome also cycles into.
  • Same relationship to GM's Mystic Teal (Camaro/Firebird/Trans Am, mid-1990s), shares its bright green starting point, stops short of the purple-to-almost-black end Mystic Teal is known for.
  • No automaker has put a color-shift paint into production that stays only in this green-gold-copper range, every documented factory example, Ford's included, pushes further into blue and purple. A flip that holds in green-to-copper without a blue phase is the calling card of aftermarket chameleon pigment lines, not a factory paint category.

Adhesive residue of up to approximately 30% may occur on removal depending on installation and removal conditions.

Application

  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Service range: -55°C to +65°C

Disclaimer

All TeckWrap statements, technical information, and recommendations are based on tests believed to be reliable but do not constitute a guarantee or warranty. All products are sold with the understanding that the buyer has independently determined the suitability of products for their purpose.

TeckWrap products are warranted to be free of defects in material for the period of shelf life. In case of defects, TeckWrap will replace the product or compensate at its sole discretion. This is the exclusive obligation of TeckWrap Inc.

Warranty does not cover normal wear, transportation, labor, consequential damages, or any of the following characteristic to chrome and metalized films: surface scratches and micro-marks from installation or daily use, distortion of the metalized layer from overstretching, overheating, or crumpling, adhesive residue on removal (up to approximately 30%), or durability beyond the typical 1-year outdoor lifespan on horizontal surfaces.

Chrome and metalized films are designed for partial wrapping applications only. Full-vehicle wraps are not recommended. Professional installation by experienced installers familiar with chrome and metalized materials is strongly recommended. Color and reflectivity may vary depending on lighting conditions, viewing angles, and environmental surroundings. Chrome finishes may appear softer or slightly "milky" in natural light compared to high-contrast studio photography.

Screen images may vary, refer to physical color swatches. Use same production LOT for color consistency across panels.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Price per roll

$80 to $350 per roll. Cheap upfront, then you pay a shop to strip it.

Film construction

Monomeric calendered vinyl. Shrinks back off the edges within months.

Release liner

Paper liner. Curls in storage and telegraphs into the finish.

Adhesive system

Rubber based. Grabs on contact and leaves residue on removal.

Warranty and removal

None stated, or a term with nothing behind it.

Color and finish range

A short list of solids. Color drifts between production batches.

The smart way

Price per roll

From $399 per roll, enough film to cover a standard sedan.

3 years vertical, rated by climate zone and panel. Claims paid.

Color and finish range

Over 220 colors in gloss, satin, matte, metallic, chrome, color shift.
