Warranty

Matte color-shift is a delicate finish and needs more care than gloss. With proper care and a matte-safe ceramic coating, expect up to 3 years of outdoor durability on vertical panels and around 2 years across a full wrap, depending on climate zone. Parking indoors or under cover extends the finish. Heat-removable within 2 years for the cleanest removal, with minimal adhesive residue.

• Surface: apply only to a clean, sound, fully cured OEM factory finish. Repainted, primed, aftermarket, or damaged surfaces can affect adhesion and removal and fall outside warranty coverage.
• Apply at +17°C to +23°C
• Tools: squeegee, buffer, knife, masking tape, heat gun, magnets, gloves, IR thermometer, IR heater
• Conformability: smooth and medium-curved surfaces
• Post-heat: 100°C
• Cure: 24 hrs above 10°C (48 hrs at room temperature recommended)
• Overlap: 3 to 4 mm
• Directional film. The color-shift effect orients with the film, so keep orientation consistent across all panels and use one production LOT per vehicle to avoid a mismatched shift between panels.
• Avoid overstretching during application, which can distort the color-shift pigment
• Avoid over-buffing and hard squeegee pressure, which can burnish a matte surface to a shine
• Remove the protective cap before installing
• Professional installation strongly recommended for the best result and to keep the warranty valid
• Aftercare: hand wash with a matte-safe, pH-neutral shampoo (pH 3 to 11). Avoid waxes, polishes, gloss enhancers, solvents, and petroleum-distillate products, and never use automatic washes, brushes, or high-pressure washers.

Coverage requires proper storage, professional installation, and maintenance in line with TeckWrap's care guidance, and does not apply to films installed on non-OEM, repainted, or damaged surfaces. If you notice cracking, lifting, edge failure, or other defects, contact your installer promptly for assessment.

Matte finishes can burnish to a shine if rubbed, scrubbed, or polished, and show fingerprints and water spots more readily than gloss. Color-shift films also change apparent color with viewing angle and lighting, with the shift following the film orientation. These are normal characteristics of a matte color-shift film and are not covered.

Removal from aged, repainted, or poorly bonded factory paint may lift paint or clear coat. TeckWrap is not responsible for the condition of the underlying paint upon removal.
