Important note:

The images, colours and finishes on screen are approximate. For the real representation of the product always check the color swatch. Rolls from the same production lot number should be used for completing a wrap job as a slight batch to batch variation of color may occur. One need to handle metallized films with care as the appearance of the metallized layer could change upon crumpling, overstretching, too strong heating. Film may scratch during application, or during day in and out use. Scratching of the film is not covered by warranty.

To achieve a perfect finish

  • We recommend using a tack reducer for flat panels.
  • Installation by at least two people/panel
  • Don't heat up to the line where the film is lifted to prevent adhesive lines.
  • Apply max 50 degrees of heat when stretching to prevent fading and marks.
  • Apply soap and water over the squeegee felt to avoid scratches.
  • Relax the film (heat and let it cool down) before applying it to a recess
  • Apply adhesive promoter on deep recesses
  • Post-heat a vinyl film to a recommended temperature

Impossible wrap

Extremely difficult and not going to last for long.

The chrome film is not a regular vinyl film and, in terms of application, is the most difficult one. It can last longer is properly protected - use PPF or ceramic coating

Awesome wrap

I have little experience with wrapping with chrome. My corvette turned out pretty good. You have to have patience with this wrap. It’s definitely not easy. I keep my car in garage. To minimize sun damage. Don’t let rain sit on wrap for extended periods. If you get caught in the rain… wipe off if exposed to the sun. When applying. There is a trick to the heat gun. You have to be at least a foot away. Maybe more. If the heat to high. The film will start to discolor. Be careful when stretching. Make sure you’re not wrapping when the hours outside are cool. Adhesive does not want to stick. After wrapping my corvette in mirror chrome wrap. Your skill level jumps up. Especially if you have OCD. You learn as you go. And when you mess with other car wrap. Like Matt. Or gloss it’s super easy to apply.

Orange looks great

So I purchased the orange chrome. I knew it was going to be difficult. But was up for the challenge. This was the first time I wrapped a car and it turned out great. Took a lot of effort. But as I was laying each piece down. My skill with wrapping was increasing as I went. It would be pretty dope if we can post our pics here. Would love to share to see what you guys think. Again. Good stuff. If this is your first time and your starting with chrome. Remember to be patient. It’s not about the speed. Got the car wrapped in one week.
