Great product minimum orange peel!

Great product, easy to install!

Description

A deep red can look brown, purple, or almost black when its center lacks clarity. Dark Carmine keeps the body visibly red while giving shaded panels substantial depth.

Key Attributes

  • Clear Red Coverage: Opaque pigmentation keeps the underlying paint from shifting the carmine base.
  • Protective Color Layer: The film changes the body color while covering the factory finish underneath.
  • Dry Application: Panel placement does not require wet installation fluid.
  • Shape-Friendly Film: Verified stretch helps the material follow curves and recessed transitions.
  • Stable Contact: Tested adhesion gives installers a documented foundation for setting the film on the panel.

The first impression is a dense carmine red. Long reflections reveal a brighter crimson line, while lower doors and shaded curves settle into wine red. There is warmth in the base, but not enough orange to turn it scarlet. Compared with maroon, the red is quicker to show and easier to read across the entire vehicle. Even the brightest reflected areas stay rooted in an overall dark, full-bodied red.

OEM Match

  • Closest to Mazda Artisan Red Premium: Dark Carmine follows its mature dark-red direction while retaining its own film finish.
  • Brighter, redder, and less muted than BMW Aventurine Red Metallic: Dark Carmine keeps more crimson visible through the darker areas.
  • Warmer and more saturated than Audi Grenadine Red Metallic: Its red center feels clearer and less reserved.

Carry that mature red character onto an Audi RS 7, BMW M5, Lexus LC, or Mercedes-AMG GT.

How TeckWrap compares

Not all film is the same

Cheap film won't last a season. Legacy brands charge a brand premium. TeckWrap sits in the middle: professional-grade film at an honest price.

The cheap way

Budget Film

Saves money up front, then bubbles, fades and cracks within a season.

Cost to get the look

Cheapest sticker price. You are buying color, not protection.

What one roll covers

Short cuts only. A full car means joining two rolls.

Dry install, clean finish

Dry install in name only. Adhesive lines stay in the finish.

What comes in the box

A bare roll in a bag. Bring your own everything.

Warranty you can claim

Eight years on paper, from a factory you cannot trace.

Color range

A long catalog online. Made to order, and the batch drifts.

Professional-grade film at an honest price. Reversible, paint-safe, and color-shifting.

Ten year headline term. Read the exclusion list before you trust it.
