Description

Most chrome wraps come in the same handful of silvers and golds. TeckWrap's Indigo Chrome doesn't. It runs a deep indigo-blue mirror that bends and travels the reflection with every angle.

  • Installer-grade: limited stretch by design, best applied by experienced installers on partial wraps with steam or IR heat

Indigo Chrome is a statement finish, not a subtle one. The mirror surface throws a deep indigo-blue reflection that warps and travels as the car moves, the kind of look that turns a roof, hood, or accent panel into the centerpiece of a build. Like all true chromes it trades stretch for shine, so it lives on partial wraps and detail work rather than full bodies, and it rewards an experienced installer working with controlled heat. Done right, nothing flat or painted comes close to the depth of a moving chrome reflection.

Roofs, mirror caps, accent panels, hoods, this is where Indigo Chrome earns its keep. Put a moving mirror-blue reflection on the parts of the build you want people to stare at.

  • Service range: -30°C to +30°C
  • 180° peel strength: 10.66 N/25mm (standard ≥6.8)
  • Initial tack: 822 g/25mm (standard 800–1500)
  • Release force: 0.1 N/25mm (standard 0.10–0.30)
  • Adhesion: 70, no shifting (standard ≥60)
  • Aging tested +65°C and -65°C: minimum adhesive residue
  • Storage: 1 year at +10°C to +20°C, 50% RH, in original package, away from direct sunlight

Warranty

  • Standard TeckWrap limited warranty for chrome film. Scratches, micro-marks, and metalized-layer distortion from overstretching, overheating, or crumpling are characteristic of chrome material and not covered. Use the same production LOT for color consistency across panels.

Application
  • Apply at +17°C to +23°C
  • Standard squeegee with soft buffer
  • A steam vacuum or IR heater is recommended for controlled heating
  • Conformability: smooth and moderately curved surfaces only
  • Limited stretchability, avoid overstretching, crumpling, or aggressive repositioning
  • Overheating permanently distorts the metalized layer
  • Designed for partial wraps, accents, decals, and detailing
  • Not recommended for full vehicle wraps
  • Remove the protective cap before installing
  • Professional installation strongly recommended
